Still opens a can seamlessly. Made in USA from what I understand they may now be made only in China. This is an older one with Made In USA stamped and a quality solid feel to the metal and the swinging part. Opened the can perfectly and easily. You may think that its an easy thing to find a can opener that works well. Well, guess again 😉
